House Azurite- Sting Swift, Stand Eternal
Origins of House Malachite
The foundation of House Malachite goes back to the very start of the colonisation of the Fenn system itself. After his incredible performance as a commander on the battlefield that brought the native population of continent Primus under imperial control, good friend of Archibald Fenn and twin brother Aldric was assigned a position as part of the council of 8 to oversee and manage Nyxoria and its industrial Production.
The young and head strong Aldric was know for making bold tactical choices in the fight to control the system. The regular used of a hammer like approach to removing problems on and off the battlefield was Aldrics preffered choice in life.
Most commanders underestimated him! making the mistake of thinking his actions were because of inexperience when it was actually his eagerness to serve!
Alongside the other members within the council of 8, Aldric was tasked with establishing a hive city on one of the 4 major continent on the planet. He chose the battleground of his final victory for this location, Hive Primus not only will be a bastion to House Malachite but also a monument to the great cavalry charge that secured its name in history!
The Crest of House Malachite
With the name and its vibrant green colour coming from the Malachite mineral in the ground combined with the honourable Aldric’s love for his twin brother. The horse sigil was chosen as a homage to Edric as he was the most talented rider on there home world. Thus was House Malachite forged: a lineage of strength, loyalty, and enduring brotherhood.
In the modern age, the horse has been reimagined as a beast of burden and war, symbolizing a house that grinds its enemies beneath a relentless, thundering advance. To House Malachite, honor is a weapon, and their emerald-clad Knights move with the crushing weight of a landslide.
Influence on Nyxoria
Being one of the appointed members of the council of 8, House Malachite has a large influence over the world and its part to play in the larger system organisation. With the history of working through its problems with brute force, House malachite has become the expert in mining on the planet with preference to using weight of numbers and explosive materials to get to the core of any issue or material. This has made them the house responsible for planning allot of mining work in the deep crusts of the Planet itself regardless which house has the mining Licence.
Battle Honours
From the beginning of the colonisation on Nyxoria House Malachite has show vast time and time again its ability to dominate a battle Feild with campaign wins spanning generations on and off the plantet.
The Battle they are most famous for is the charge of the Destrier Legion which broke the back of the defending populous of Nyxoria and lead to the world’s conquest.
Tactical Doctrine
Tactical doctrine in House Malachite can vary by the 5 Banners within its house. each Banner has a maniple that is made up of Knight and Titans equipped for a specific role.
The Destriders are the Armoured Fist of the legion with the single goal of crashing into the Enermy lines and creating gaps for lighter legio to exploit. And example is listed below
The Warhounds and knights push forward first, collapsing shields and drawing fire. The Reavers close on the flanks as the two Warlords advance in lockstep — Ferrum Imperator targeting priority engines, Ossian Breaker finishing anything that survives. The knight lance dies before it lets anything reach the Warlords’ flanks.
