Horus Heresy Day 2

Welcome to the D6 games Horus Heresy Narrative Event Part 2

This Event is Designed to tell a story in what happened the heresy between the loyalist and traitors in our fictional solar system called the Fen System.

On this day you will take part in 3 x 1 vs 1 games at 2500 points per game. As a player you will play all your games on a 1 vs 1 basis but you will be part of a larger team that is representing either loyalist or traitor. Your results of each of your games will help shape the story of the war. The results of each game will be tracked and represented across all 4 parts of the Narative campaign by a 3D printed Mini map. We have created this mini map and little mini marines to represent players army positions and the forces battle lines.

During the day players will be provided a lunch (see menu below) after round 2 and access to a all day tea and coffee station across the day.

Historic Moment

By treachery or sorcery, the Traitor forces have gained passage through the Gate of Nyxoria. Through false vox-sigils or the counsel of turncoat officers, the fortress-walls have been deceived, their defence batteries now turning upon those sworn to the Emperor’s light. As the great gates grind open and the Traitors fall back in practised withdrawal, the walls of Nyxoria Primus speak with fire — not in defence of Terra’s cause, but in service of the Warmaster’s spite.

The Loyalist vanguard, caught mid-advance, finds itself suddenly naked beneath punishing fire. There is no time for hesitation. Commanders press their warriors forward in a sweeping counter-thrust — every step costing dearly, every metre won in blood — even as siege emplacements are dug and anchored against the storm to come.

Then the earth trembles.

House Malachite, returning from distant campaigns, strides into the battle-line with oaths fresh upon their lips and retribution in their hearts. Yet before the first Volcano Cannon can speak, the horizon erupts in counter-fire. God-Machines of unknown allegiance answer from the Traitor flank — marked in the heraldry of Proxy Houses, yet bearing the shadow of a greater patron. Whether the hand of House Azurite — the House of the Wasp — moves behind this treachery remains unconfirmed.

When the smoke clears, we shall know the full weight of what has been unleashed.

Until then — walk in the Emperor’s grace, for the ground beneath you is no longer safe.

Arrival Time- 8:30am

  • Game 1 time- 9am-12pm

  • Game 2 Start time 12:15pm-3:15pm

  • Lunch break- 3:15pm-3:45pm

  • Game 3- 3:45pm-6:45pm

  • Set down 6:45pm

If you withdraw from the Event 15 days out or more you will receive a full refund.

If you withdraw from the event 14 days out or less you will be offered a partial refund or a transfer. As event costs will be paid by this point.

If you withdraw from the event 7 days out or less you won’t receive a refund.

If in the event you have to withdraw within 7 days of an event because of a family medical emergency. Contact me and you will be offered a transferred to another event of a similar type.

Key Things to note about this Event

This is our style of a narrative day event and with that we are making some changes to the day that reflects our approach and ethos of story telling in the Warhammer world. These changes might be different compared other events that you have taken part in.

  • Army’s Do Not Need To Be Painted.

  • Models must be clear in there representation and easy to indicate what they are!. I.e Sargent built with Sargent helmets or no helmets. Heavy weapons or special weapons must be modelled clearly compared to basic troops weapons.

  • Each round will use the same terrain layout to make the day move faster.

  • Each round the deployment and mission will change.

  • All Rounds will be 3 hours long

  • Players have 5 min to submit there scores after the round ends.

  • No named hero’s or Primarchs (they are not in this section of the galaxy at the time of the war)

  • Super Heavy’s limited to 1 per Army
